Description

Thanks to its super-high-flux Luxeon LED bulb, Streamlight's Scorpion is one of the brightest flashlights out there for its size and weight: It's rated at a blinding 47 lumens, yet it only weighs 5.3 ounces with batteries. The body is made of durable machined aluminum and features a rubber-armored sleeve for a sure, comfortable grip. O-rings keep the moisture out, and a polycarbonate lens (with scratch resistant coating) protects the LED. A convenient tail-cap switch lets you turn the light on and off without having to switch from an over- to underhanded grip.

The Scorpion runs on two three-volt lithium batteries (included), which will give you up to 1.75 hours of run time, with another couple of hours at reduced illumination. If you think it will be a while before you work through those four hours, you'll be relieved to know that the batteries have a 10-year shelf life-in other words, this flashlight will be ready when you need it.
